Will the front be the back tomorrow? That’s this REBOOT’s all-important question which needs one thing above everything else: a real 360° view. With this in mind, we have invited selected speakers who promise exciting impulses from very different angles. With one big advantage: they are not self-proclaimed future experts, but grown pragmatists.

Every day, these experts take responsibility for small and big changes bringing our society forward. They translate their experience into business models of today and tomorrow. In other words: they make applicable suggestions. They’re one of us.

THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL

THE EUROPEAN INNOVATION AWARD RETAIL - START-UP 2020

Since 2012, the German Council of Shopping Centers awards the European Innovation Award Retail for extraordinary and trendsetting projects and concepts to highlight their exemplary character for retail and the retail real estate industry through the public appreciation.

Thanks to the qualified jury and the broad publicity, the winners and nominees not only get significant appreciation but the opportunity to make contacts with potential partners, financiers and future customers. Furthermore, they receive valuable feedback directly from the decision-makers of our industry.

For the first time this year, we have decided to award the European Innovation Award Retail 2020 to start-up companies only. Taking into account the evolving connection between on- and offline, the creative ideas and impulses of this unique corporate culture are of existential importance in the future, especially for the retail and retail real estate industry. We are looking forward to receiving the submissions and, especially, to see how the ideas of our candidates will inspire your business model.

WHAT A LOCATION

THE LOCATION

The Kosmos used to be the GDR’s state-of-the-art movie theatre. In times when the entire world followed the "Space Race", the architects Josef Kaiser, Herbert Aust and Günter Kunert conceived their building in the spirit of space travel - yet the interior lights remind the jets of a space shuttle. After the German Unification, UFA acquired the landmarked building serving as an event location for special occasions since 2005. One is REBOOT, the conference where the day after tomorrow is on the agenda.

REBOOT wouldn’t be possible without our allies and partners in crime.
